See, that’s what I love about baseball, you cannot run the clock out. I love football, basketball but baseball man i love how it’s not over until the last out. People who call baseball boring completely miss that.

True story. Up until a few years ago, I had never left even a blowout Twins game early, because there’s always that chance at a miraculous comeback. (That first game I left early was because it was 40 degrees outside and we were losing badly near the end of the game; it wound up not being as lopsided on the scoreboard at the end, but we did still lose.)
