If it came from his personal trust it would be less bad for Trump as a candidate is allowed to donate as much as he wants to his campaign. In that case it is a reporting violation only which I believe would be more of a fine-able offense than a felony. If it came from the foundation everyone is fucked. If it came from the trump org it would probably be an illegal contribution not sure who would be on the hook there.
