That is my only major concern with legalization of marijuana possession, sale and consumption: namely that a lot of people will be just as irresponsible behind the wheel with it as they are with alcohol.

True, but most likely they will be driving at 15 MPH in a 45 MPH zone to buy a family-sized bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos and a 2-liter bottle of Dr. Pepper.
