I don’t remember the name of the show, but a lady tried to raise a wolf pup in her home, didn’t work. The wolf puppy grew up to be a big skittish wild wolf in her house, had to let it go. I believe another lady in Russia was able to breed the wild out of foxes, took maybe three generations? She picked the tamest of the bunch and bred only those.

The fox breeding was something I saw on a Nova program called “Dogs Decoded”. Pretty amazing thing.

Not all wolf/dog blends work well for people. But when they do, they are amazing.
