The case is receiving a lot of attention. IMO, that’s probably a good thing in the long run - these issues need to be dealt with as imperfectly as it happens.

Given that the attention is there, and Oliver steps up to the media to vouch for Zimmerman, then the substance and veracity of his comments is entirely “important.”

It’s interesting to watch what you deem important and what you think unimportant.

You might be right but the hysteria, hype, misinformation and conspiracy theories are very dangerous. In the long run it might be for the best but I’m not so sure.
