As someone pointed out somewhere, Manafort may be more afraid of Death By Putin than he is of Federal Prison. If your choices are “grow old and die in prison” or the Polonium soup served up by Philip and Elizabeth Jennings the GRU, Paulie might prefer the former.

Yeah, I’m sure he’s not going to sing. He’s going to prison where it’s safer for him (AND/OR his family).
