I was just reading a story on the website for the Palm Springs newspaper (the Desert Sun), about the horrible damage to Joshua Tree National Park.

What kind of mind and spirit is so diseased that you go to a place like that and intentionally do harm? How does that give you pleasure? It’s maddening.
