People mocking Rogan for being a doof taking stupid meds are hitting the wrong note.

The right note to hit is that he’s able to throw money at the most expensive treatment available, the one that most people can’t get, but doesn’t even acknowledge that that is different from taking OTC crap.

He’s a fucking French duke posturing as though he’s toughing through a disease while getting concierge medicine that’s literally just pre-made antibodies.

I think it’s the right note. Rogan is obviously combining the antibodies with snake oil in an effort to validate the snake oil. He is not a doof but he is targeting people who are, and many of them will fall for it. It reminds me of those people who credit any and every break generated by human agency to divine intervention. The antibodies could well pull him through, but that’s not where he intends to put the credit. Wait and see, assuming he survives. If not, we can always send thoughts and prayers.
