Personally, I can’t wait for my local paper to go ahead and die already. It’s a travesty, a pale, stuttering, limping, Chicago-Tribune-owned ghost of its former self. The local free “alternative” weekly does more investigative journalism than the old daily anymore.

Maybe Dan would like to start by trying to revive that corpse. Then we can see about czarism.
