Watch Republicans running in the House and Senate (and to a certain extent statewide office), if they start distancing themselves from Trump, it is because they know he’s going down and they are going to try and save themselves from people voting D down the line. Most of them should share his fate, but it is what it is, and I’m sure a few will survive - who should be driven out in 2022 or 2024.

Those Republicans will be keeping a sharp eye on the polls around mid-September. If Trump is still tanking, they’re going to realize he’s about to take them all down with him. Then they’ll try to put some daylight between him and them. Of course, by that point, it might well prove to be too little, too late.
