I”m saying, simply, that they’re not the conclusions you’re claiming. They’re a log for a work in progress. You still haven’t shown convincingly that the problems he was trying to fix led to any incorrect data being published. Isn’t that the claim?

It is a log for a LIVE LEGACY PROGRAM SUITE. Do you know what that implies? Harris sat down in 2006 and started to try to produce data that he was tasked to create, his biggest project was to create a new version of CRU TS 3.0 and he couldn’t do it accurately. The programs were full of problems.

These are the same programs that produced CRU TS 1.0 and onward.

The CRU TS databases are a combination of data coming from a number of different sources… station temperature reading, cloud data, sun data, wet data… to name a few, and these different datasets are combined to make a world wide grid of temperature anomalies across the globe.

When he started to create a new version of CRU TS, he couldn’t do it. He found mistake after mistake. And even after fixing the mistakes, and sent out the new CRU TS 3.0, it has problems.

Harris is a hero, CRU and their legacy data is pitiful.
