One of the better stand alone episodes: imdb.com. The Doctor and Amy travel back to visit Van Gogh. He’s dealing with his psychoses, can’t sell his paintings, and there’s a creature running around that, because of his “vision,” only he can see. At the end, van Gogh, Amy, and the Doctor are looking up at the sky, and van Gogh tries to explain to the Doctor the colors he sees in the nigh sky on a starry night. Also guest stars Bill Nighy.
