why does Sarah Palin elicit such hate in people? Seriously? What is it you people despise so much about her? Her looks, her family, her success, her intelligence?

Actually, I never “hated” her until the Conservatives, including some here (or who were here) continually pushed the theme that liberals were scared of Palin and were pretending otherwise in a collective political trick. That’s when my facsination began. They created a cult of personality far more deep than anything with Obama.
