Last year Michigan’s entire cherry crop was destroyed by unseasonable warm weather which caused early blooming and then freezing when normal weather resumed.

Ontario lost 80-90% of its apple crop for the exact same reason. I was desperately hoping the same thing wouldn’t happen this year, but judging from the January we’ve had thus far - spring-like temperatures approaching 15C, followed by a week of freezing cold where they were closer to -15C, and today, once again, rainy, stormy, and back up near the 15C - it’s not looking good :(
