I don’t want the death penalty used. Should he be found guilty after a fair trial, I want him to spend the rest of his very long life in prison without possibility of parole (cheaper than death penalty appeals anyway). Lock him away and let society forget about him. No “last hurrah” with heroic efforts to save him from the death penalty and the attendant circus of press, protests against the death penalty, think pieces from “very important people,” &c.

Oh I agree with you on the death penalty - don’t get me wrong.

I just want to see the kid’s face if that was the verdict/sentence that was given.
