I’m thinking whoever called in that threat to the JCC on Staten Island may have made a big mistake: the NYPD is one of the few police agencies in this country with the resources and experience to efficiently investigate these sort of “threats” and find and arrest the perps. Sadly, threat-call vandalism, if done right, is damn difficult to track down, and is a low priority for most LE departments (usually regarded, until/unless something bad actually happens as a variety of “prank”) but the NYPD is an exception to the rule.

Of course, the bomb-threatener is most likely some asshole HS kid, calling in from his parent’s basement, but you can;t be too careful…..
