It will be worse, proportionally. Almost no one did 3-4 tours in Viet Nam. Without large numbers of draftees, the professional Army is sending people around again and again. The Surgeon General has a better grasp on it than in the 70’s, but the impact is much less shared.

I don’t know the actual overall stats but what I saw here in Kentucky since GWB’s war after 9/11…it was National Guard being sent over there over and over again.
