I get that. My Mom who I lost at 34 years old had taught me this- Time is short, “miss me well” which mean proudly carried t love her forever and never let the sad get in the way of the joy. Celebrate our parents with a well lived life. Do I sound trite? Maybe. But I get it.

Before I pass out.. My Lord it’s only 9pm.. Too many shots..What is that stuff with gold flakes in it? Gold something…too many..
My folks adopted me at 12 but i can’t forget the love they had for me.
One day we were playing baseball with all the neighbor kids and I threw a fit. My mom called me to the other side of the building and pinned me against the wall and dressed me up and down. No matter how good of an athlete I was.. If I ever acted that way as her son..She was going to take me out..I was pretty sure that was a threat on my life but.. As I looked mom in the eye I promised to be a good boy…Whew..That woman was serious. Every Mother’s Day from that day till the end.. I was my Mother’s Caddy at many a golf courses. I proudly carried Mom’s clubs.
