I don’t understand why aging rockers continue to do this. Can’t they just turn it down, or does the continuing quest to stay in the spotlight just become embarrassing? Certainly McCartney has made enough money by now.

I think it’s more feeling the need to be relevant. It must be hard going from being one of the most famous people in the world to old age. That’s just my thought since I am neither famous or relevant.
