Did you miss the fact that the Justice Dept. is pursuing prosecutions of CIA interrogators?

Only because they have to. Holder announced the appointment of a special prosecutor with an extremely limited brief — because the ACLU won a lawsuit that forced the disclosure of the Inspector General of the CIA’s 2004 report on counter terrorism measures. It isn’t a coincidence those events occurred on the same day. (The court ruled on a Friday that the report be disclosed Monday; by noon on Monday Holder announced the appointment of that prosecutor.)

Asscovering. Recall that Obama doesn’t want any attention or prosecutions of anyone major in the Bush admin—because he’s continuing many Bush policies himself.
