Precisely my point. That won’t happen to anything in the Bill Of Rights.
It won’t happen to slaveholding or women’s right to vote either, and they are not in the Bill of Rights.
I wrote a letter to the paper here once when the argument about marriage equality was fast and furious, noting that with the exception of the religiously-motivated XVIII Amendment, the entire history of the Constitution has been the expansion of liberty, not its restriction.
Considering the requirement to repeal or amend an amendment, it would be nigh-impossible to repeal any one of them unless they were universally hated.
