I grew up in Detroit in the 70s and 80s while the Pistons and the Bad Boys wreaked havoc in the NBA. I was a HUGE Rodman fan when he was a Piston. I was crushed when he was traded to SA. Little did we know what was brewing inside.

I cheered when the Bulls signed him, as he was the rebound expert Chicago needed to win championships, and for three years he played the role Horace Grant had played in the Bulls’ first “Threepeat” run. For that reason, I am frustrated and angered by Rodman’s actions but I’ll never hate him.
