But of course, it’s the same old song and dance, the GOP saying “Sure, we’ll consider letting them live here legally,” but then making such a decision contingent on certain conditions being met, with the decision on whether they’ve been met left up to fellow Republicans or state governments which are invested in not agreeing that the conditions have been met.
