Then the next Democratic Congress and Democratic President are just gonna have to put it back, with improvements of course. And they can perhaps rename it.

I suggest the “Go Fuck Yourself Donald Trump Healthcare Act”.

My fear there is two-fold

1) Who knows if/when we’ll get a Congress that will actually allow this, knowing the GOP’s penchant for intractable obstruction, and the media’s willingness to pretend it’s SOP when they scream bloody murder about one single Dem filibuster.

2) Even if we manage to get this, it’s almost only a matter of time before the electorate gets its usual amnesia, pretends Dems are to blame for all ills yet again and give the GOP insurmountable majorities again to fix ‘the Democrat’s problems’. Because that’s how it always seem to fucking work in this fucking country.
