I hope not. If she was, she would pick up a viola and learn to read the lower clef. Fiddle players are thick on the ground and competition for any orchestra chair is fierce. Good viola players, on the other bow, are much more in demand.

I was more or less hoping she was making music a career. Maybe she ends up playing something else in time. Maybe several instruments for her teaching career. She’s young…just nice to see kids in the arts.
