I am really hoping his opponent considers another go at it in 2020 but I understand how exhausting campaigns are for candidates and their families which is as much as I’d love it if Beto contemplated running for President in 2020 or even against Cornyn, I would completely understand if he did not.

Iowa may well be in play against in 2020 - Democratic governor, three of four representatives, decent number of statewide offices in the D category.
