Seriously - WTF

It may have been a police involved shooting, but it may stem from an individual who was recently fired:

Some media are reporting up to eight victims in the shooting but as 9:39 a.m. the FDNY was still evaluating and would not release a number. The shooting began just after 9 a.m. As of 9:44 a.m. It is coming over the news scanner that the perp may be a recently fired worker who returned.

The gunman is confirmed dead.

As many as eight may have been wounded.

Oh, and in a related note - 19 people were shot in the last 12 hours out in Chicago.
