re: #376 Jenner7

Well, I picked a shitty time to show up….

Sigh…

Nah, stay. I’m out for the day (I need my sleep). Stay for the bashing of little villages in the Heartland, after all, our Electoral votes don’t matter - Mrs. Clinton won by four million or so popular votes after all.

Yup, I’ve pretty much decided it now. I am not going to waste my time running in my next village board election. We whining little villages don’t matter, and the Democrats apparently don’t want to do the heavy lifting to earn our votes.

One thing’s for sure that I’ve learned here in the last few days, it would appear Democrats in other areas really don’t care about us.

Democrats claiming they would like to represent all the people, at least reading this string from the last several days, is a lie.

You wonder why this state is a one-party state? Go back and look over your comments.

FFS, get down off that soapbox. We get it, you’re bitter than Hillary didn’t visit every podunk town in the Midwest, because that surely would have flipped enough votes to yield your state to her. And we get that you don’t feel as though the DNC is doing anything to help you personally, that you feel isolated and along in a deep red district in a deep red state.

Trump’s surrogates were all over this state. They made damn sure they would win it. FFS, Trump himself rallied in California and Massachusetts.

You think we’ll win elections by ignoring a huge portion of the Electoral College vote? Good luck with that. It ain’t the Republicans that are only one statehouse away from having the necessary number of states to pass Constitutional amendments.

I don’t care how math challenged you are, the party lives or dies by the Electoral college.

I’m out for the day. Feel free to berate me for complaining there is no party support here and why voters show up for the only party that does campaign here.

I will sleep on whether or not I should run again for office. I doubt it. It isn’t worth being attacked by both Democrats and Republicans.
