It’s hard on the jockeys, too. I became less than a fan when I learned that every horse that races in So. Cal. is given an anti-bleeding drug so they don’t bleed in their lungs.

But where does one draw the line? Rodeo is cruel. Boxing is cruel. Football is cruel. Or is dangerous a better word? There was a bike racing fatality last week.

I admit I am auto racing fan…so.

But the difference to me is humans make their own choices. Animals do not.

I’m thinking I may have opened a can of worms.

Also, I don’t know if it is a full moon weekend, but I’ve already gone through a bunch of nasty snark and meanness elsewhere. I think I am going to lay low. Hell, it may be me and how I am currently seeing things as not at all well.
