Well, as far as 5) goes, I DO think China is headed for a real estate crash not unlike we had.

I don’t doubt it, but I think the constant, daily drumbeat of how another recession is “right around the corner” is keeping people hesitant to get out there and spend money. Up til yesterday, we had doom-and-gloomers informing us that if the Greeks elected anybody but the pro-euro parties, that the markets would crash today and we’d be in another recession. Well, the pro-euros did get elected, and what do we hear now? “Spain’s on the verge of collapse!”

It’s reached the point where I really do expect to see a guy in a crisp suit standing out on Wall Street, holding a sign saying “The End Is Near!”
