There are only two things that I have ever “experienced” multiple times in dreams. The first is pulling a hair or splinter out of my arm that turns out to be the tail of a very long, segmented worm-like parasite. The other one is spilling a drop of liquid onto my skin that immediately causes the skin to harden like it would if you spilled crazy glue on it, but then the skin begins to dissolve away in much the same way that the acidic blood from the facehugger in “Alien” eats through the floor of the infirmary when they try to cut it off of Kane.
