I don’t think either I or my kids ever went to a school that was named for anyone. Generally they were geographically named, but my jr. high was named “La Entrada” on the theory it was the portal between elementary and high school.

The only school I ever went to that was named after anybody was Frank B. Kellogg Jr. High.
