Yea, it’s amazing.

I paid $50 for my J-50 in Macon GA in 1964.

A couple of years ago, was over at a friend’s house, and listening to his son play his guitar.

“Damn he’s a lot better player than I” and my J-45, Yamaha 12 string and, Ovation 6 string don’t get played much, so I gave him the J-50 and 12 string.

I’m glad that such nice guitars went to a good home.

Kept the Ovation to noddle on.

I’ve given away 3 guitars this year. I’m in a ‘paying it forward’ mindset nowadays.

There’s a shop in Brooklyn called Orphan Guitars, that sells guitars and uses part of the profits to buy local kids music lessons. I’m thinking of loading up 5 or 6 of my old acoustics and dropping them off there.
