What kills me about GOP.com is that 9 of the 16 “Republican Heroes” are black (including one, “Pinckney Pinchback” Republican Governor of Louisiana for all of 35 days, who, according to Wikipedia, was elected to both houses of Congress, but couldn’t get members of either party to seat him.)

Do you think they’re trying to tell us something? I have the feeling they’re trying to tell us something, but I can’t quite make it out. It’s like someone trying to talk underwater.

Maybe they think if they put up stuff like that on the website, people won’t notice that their “base” is showing up at rallies with pictures of our President with a bone in his nose.

One of Michael Steele’s Sisyphean goals is to get more Urban blacks involved in the Republican party, and more youth. Our bench is drying up so I salute that direction if not the way it was executed.
