As a person who is almost entirely a pedestrian, the idea of a flying car fills me with the most exquisite horror.

As a pedestrian I have to have the mind of a prey animal. I’m of the opinion that many drivers, perhaps most, possess driving skills consisting entirely of the location of the accelerator.

Now these people are going to fly as well? We’ve just upped the casualty rate of vehicle accidents by and order of magnitude.
