I appreciate Yglesias’s sarcasm, because he’s speaking in my own language.
But the reply is correct. I suspect a lot of people read some of his Tweets and say, “What? I thought Vox was Liberal?”

To make sarcasm really work on a short form text medium like twitter you’ve got to make the premise just hyperbolically absurd. Yglesias’ biggest problem is that, like a lot of dudes, he thinks he’s cleverer than he really is.
