My hometown of Houston’s causing a drama-storm now. Naturally, they’re blaming Obama for what ultimately was NASA’s decision.

I heard a story on NPR that indicated as much. I sort of understand NASA’s stated rationale (NYC is exposed to more tourists than Houston, after all), but while the Kennedy Space Center and the Smithsonian are both no-brainers, I would have expected Houston to be a shoe-in as well, for obvious historical reasons.
