Ok. You could easily say he’s a flamboyant nut job who is so deep in the closet he’s trying to convince others to join him in his sad corner of the universe with other nutjobs (i.e. his wife). I don’t think so. There are plenty of flamboyant straight men; as there are “straight-acting” gay men. Not to say there are many, but they certainly exist. And it doesn’t mean that they are in denial of who they are either.

This is kinda like a Trig-Trutherism in my mind. Marcus isn’t gay. He certainly has feminine characteristics that are highlighted in the pictures and videos the author presents, but this hardly presents the case for his homosexuality. He’s been shoved into the light by his wife’s ascent in popularity and their radical views on homosexuality, and this is one way for to poke fun at it, but everyone kind of knows it’s not true.
