Even more terrible is the attempt over at Hot Air to get the basement riled up about the Democrats on this one. The objection, of course, is that this tax break mysteriously benefits those 46% of Americans who don’t pay any taxes anyway (what? what?). Yes, we are all supposed to be completely outraged that the bottom 46% of Americans might not pay their fair share to the government. (I will not deign to link, but it’s at the Green Room).

And also, what about the rich? They can’t benefit enough from this tax break, because if you make more than $106,000, you aren’t getting this tax cut on the rest of your income. Oh, the injustice!
