Why would I care who the President used to date?

I can’t name a single ex-girlfriend of any recent president. I have no idea who George W. dated before Laura. I’m sure Bill Clinton saw a whole lot of girls as a young man (and after, let’s skip the obvious jokes). I don’t know their names. Hell, Reagan had a whole first marriage, didn’t he? And I have no clue who that was with.

The reason for this is pretty simple: I DON’T CARE. NO ONE CARES. NOT EVEN MICHELLE.

It’s dogwhistle stuff - questioning who Obama dated is implying Obama is gay, a big rightwingnut issue.
