Holy Books are a deadly weapon especially when one pulls out a page, wraps it around a large rock and murders someone with it.

Your error is in thinking they’ve ever bothered to read it. Most just get spoon fed a hodge-podge of passages, many completely unrelated to each other, so preachers can make whatever point it is they’re trying to make.

Let me know when a fundie starts going through Leviticus, line by line. If you follow that book to the letter, the whole congregation would have to be killed.
