I am very fascinated by the NRA’s appeal over these last years to false rumors of gun confiscations and the continued paranoid meme out there that the USA will be invaded by the UN or some such conspiracy theory (NRA does not do this themselves but I suspect surrogates do it for them).

I wonder if the current gun industry has been destroyed by the NRA and their whisper campaigns that Obama will confiscate their guns.

All these people who bought up guns waiting for the end times will then hoard them and then will realize the end times did not come and Obama is not confiscating guns and then decide to sell them. And they will all do it around the same time and the price of re-sold weapons - many of them new in the box will - drop and no one will buy guns from manufacturers when they can cheaply buy one of those “Obama hoarded” guns millions of Americans will place for sale.
