I agree that revisiting an assault weapon ban is likely a trap the pro gun-control side should not get involved in, but I’ll believe no opposition from NRA, GOA, etc., to mandatory gun safes when I see it.

I’m not going to link the rest. But now you can see where the NRA supports safes-For sale and as a basic safety rule in the training.
