My sister has not yet gone to that extreme but when my nephew made a 3.7 GPA in his first semester at Georgia Tech she want down to Atlanta to “meet his girlfriend.” She wanted him to drop the girlfriend and transfer to Penn State so he would be closer to home. His second semester he made a 4.0. He still is with his girlfriend and at Georgia Tech.
