Seriously, I never understood that whole line of argument. Exactly how does homosexuality have anything whatsoever to do with the “sanctity of marriage”? Are they running around threatening to break up straight marriages? No? Then why, exactly, is it anybody’s fucking business who is and isn’t allowed to get married?

Christians are losing the right to impose their beliefs on the rest of us, and they’re not liking it. They white ones are also afraid of competing with gays, blacks, and women for privileges that they think should automatically theirs.
