So, this is me. I am an incurable optimist.

The fact is, people BELIEVE everything in these memos is not only plausible, but likely. His credibility, because he has defended Russia both prior to and during this “press conference” is shot. His ability to lead the American people, to gain our trust and support and respect, is gone. He’s done.

If you don’t believe the Republicans in Congress don’t realize that and are going to bail on supporting him….I mean, “golden showers” has been introduced into our lexicon. i found myself carefully explaining it to my 11 year-old last night. Awesome.

They are going to turn on him now. As Keith O. said, if he would stop defending Russia he might have a chance, but every time he does he adds fuel to the accusations. I’ve read every word of those memos. Russia threatened to blackmail him with more material. He’s got no legs to stand on.

And his debt, according to the memos, is with CHINA. Attacking them makes sense.

So, this is the pivot point. it will all snowball. Rubio is breaking with Trump as I type. McCain and Graham already have. Republicans are breaking with him on ACA repeal. He’s pissed off the intelligence community.

It’s falling apart.
