They know about the Hyde amendment and its restrictions. So any argument about Federal funds being used for abortions is just a straw man. Their real argument is that any Federal funds received by PP for STD testing, mammograms, etc. frees up funds they receive from other sources (donations/ fees for services) that can then be used for providing abortions. If they don’t get Federal funding, then that money would have to be spent on non abortion services instead. There is some technical term for this but it eludes me at this time.
