It turns out that “chocolate milk from brown cows” comes from an on-line poll. My guess is the troll factor on that poll went way up from such a dingbat question.

Everyone knows that chocolate milk comes from mixing the milk of brown and white cows. Straight from a brown cow you get chocolate sauce.

And you make chocolate milk by adding cocoa powder to cattle feed. That’s why we import so much cocoa on the High Plains. /s
