I outlined a short story once, didn’t write it because it didn’t seem that interesting, where a time traveller from the present gets a chance to go back and kill baby Hitler, and does so. He or she then returns to the present and is surprised to be speaking German, like everyone else in America, because either Heydrich or Speer (I hadn’t decided which) had become the Nazi leader and had made the right decisions for war, rather than the crazy ones.

Perhaps this might have some relevance to our current dilemma.

So…don’t kill Baby Trump? Somebody better tell Time Travelling Obama!

But maybe we’re in this situation because of Barry Allen and Flashpoint!
