I loved Marlin Perkins’ segues from what we’d been watching to…insurance. Some of them were pretty creative. Or maybe the word is “surreal”.

Two of my buddies in high school had practiced a series of segues adapted from the show, with one guy playing Marlin and the other, poor hapless Jim.
